Monkey Slapz from Preybird farms

I received my seeds today from Preybird Farms Halloween giveaway. They arrived in my U.S. address on Dec. 7th of last year. They arrived at my home address in Mexico today. Trains, planes, and automobiles. They are Monkey Slapz and Goji Crasher. I dropped 2 of the Slapz and will be doing a journal. I will keep going until I get at least 2 to sprout. Thanks again Prey.

Yeah, I was so excited to get them and to get them in water I didn’t even count them. I know there was a bunch cause when I picked one up with tweezers the cotton pad came with it along with most of the seeds. It was on a hard surface so I was able to find them all, I hope. I dropped 2 of the MS and there were 8 left. The Goji looks like about the same so 10 & 10. I oughta be able to get something done with that many. If not we’ll know I have more problems than getting seeds. Thanks again Vato.

I wanna see how a full on 12/12 photo does down there at near the equator. Do you do light deprivation by taking them in or tarping them to get to 12/12?

Keeping an eye out.

Yeah Marty, I do in and out grows. My flower room is 9’x13’ with 9’ ceilings. The attached veg room is 6’x8’6" with 8’ ceiling. I also use the gas lantern routine which means I only use my lights anywhere from 1 to 3 hours depending on the time of the year. The room has a mini split as well as a DeLonghi dehumidifier and fans. My biggest problem down here is the humidity. I only grow a couple of plants at a time and here is a pic of one of my last right before pull. The strain is Wedding Cake.

Woo wee…looks yummy. Figured you had to do something for the Indica leaning strains, the light way down there is totally different than what they are used to.

Thanks!

When I first moved here in 2010 my house was the only one on this street. The street light didn’t even work so I was able to grow outside. Now the light pollution from surrounding buildings makes that impossible. Outside during the days and inside at night with an hour of light from 12am to 1am. I have grown the same strain using the 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flower and I’m convinced that the yield is just as heavy and the potency just as strong using 5 hours less of light a night with the gas lantern lighting routine. Saves mucho $$$$.
