My girls are developing some smell. It is still pretty subtle but it is there. The trichomes are coming is really well but are all still clear as snow globes. Hoping they will get stinkier during these last few weeks.

So things are moving along with the Blue Dreams. I heard back from SeedsNow and my Velvet Heat are PHOTOS!. I had figured that out but they just confirmed it.
So what should I do? I have 5 Blue Dreams that should be ready to harvest in a few weeks. Should I keep the light at 18/6 until they are done and then switch to 12/12 to make the photos flower? Or is it ok to switch now and let the Autos finish on 12/12 light?
I usually use my grow room for my drying room but may have to go with the cardboard box method this time. Its my own fault for making assumptions. Oh well.

Go ahead and flip your lights. Your plants wonât skip a beat. Thereâs a lot of people out there that grow auto flowers from start to finish at 12/12.
Only time Iâve had problems switching lights with auto flowers is when the light has been increased. It can cause a auto flower to re-vege

Things are going well in the grow room for the most part.
I added fulvic acid to this run and I think it helps. Could be my imagination too I guess.
My Photo plants werenât getting enough water so I increased watering from once a day for 1:30 to twice a day for a 1 minute. Well that was WAY too much for the Blue Dreams! They got really soaked. So I took them off the automatic watering and Iâll let them dry out and finish them up watering by hand. If you want to see a classic symptom of overwatering check out these leaves! they were beautiful 2 days ago.
I think I am still at least a week from harvesting. Will probably sacrifice one of the top buds for a test. I see a couple of amber trichomes here and there but not many. My digital microscope camera broke so I am using the jewelerâs loop again.

Oh thats sweet! Glad the shippers didnt break that tray. I was a little worried. Your the only person with that tray. Sorry i didnt have a smaller sized shirt. So i hope the extra seeds and tray make up for it.

Nice i have a tray thats 2x bigger. I like the small polycarbonate ones but there just too expensive to make. I have one but there like $50 to make. There indestructible but thats outrageous.

Day 87. Been a while since I posted. Still waiting it out.
They smell very nice but never got as stinky as my photo grows. Might be strain specific I guess. Mostly cloudy with only a few ambers so far. Iâll get some close ups posted.
Its easier to be patient when I still have a couple OZs left from the last harvest.

Day 90-93
My Blue Dream autos are done. In my previous grows everything got done about the same time so I harvested and turned my grow room into a drying room. This time I still have 3 Velvet Heat photos I just turned to flower. So⌠what to do?
Lower the floor
Move the Command Center from the south wall to the east wall
And build a drying chamber/cabinet/sub-room in the corner out of cardboard, sticks and tape!
I have a 4" fan I am going to put in to keep the air moving. So far temp is staying 60-70 and humidity 67%. Iâd like to it to be a little cooler and dryer. We will see what happens.
Bottom line⌠I need more space!

long over due update. I harvested my 5 Fem, auto Blue Dreams.
Total harvest was 10.25 Oz of bud and 4 Oz of good shake and larf. (not shown)
I still have these 3 Velvet (something or other) in the room. Over due for defoliation cause I had to travel for work again.
Iâll be starting some vegetables and flowers (for My Lovely Bride) in the next few days. I am also thinking about doing some pot starts and moving them outdoors as soon as I am sure we wonât have another blizzard this year.
You know, I didnât break any production records but I am very happy with my return on investment. I didnât just score, just short of, 1 pound of very good (if not great) consumables but I had a good time doing it and learned a lot ⌠mostly from yaâll.

Wow it has been a while since I posted. I have been checking in to keep an eye on yaâll.
I still have 3 Velvet Heats that I will be harvesting in a few days. They are fine. Nothing spectacular yield wise. More LARF than Iâd like but should be good Indica for smoke, tincture and MCT oil. To be honest I kind of lost interest in these ladies. I still took good care of them but didnât dote on them like my other plants. I think they felt it. I started them with the understanding that they were autos but they never flowered until I flipped my light. So the grow took months longer than I had expected. Not a home run for sure but I learned new stuff and will bag some stuff. Iâll report on the harvest.
I am going to float some beans this weekend so it begins again.
So funny/scary story⌠We were driving along and talking in MLBâs newish 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the radio was on. Something in our conversation made the car/radio think we wanted it to do something, so it asked for a command. Being the witty person that I am, with a large vocabulary and vast life experiences to draw upon, yet unused to talking to electronics, I choose to respond with a friendly F*** Off. To our surprise and horror the car displayed âF*** Offâ on the screen and responded with âI may be an artificial voice but I understand your words. Please be respectful, yada, yada, blah, blah, blahâ. I am not making this shit up! We just looked at each other and were shocked, amused, horrified, concerned, etc. I hope my car doesnât report all the stuff I say to the man!
MLB looked online and couldnât find anything about cars/radios getting offended and giving an ass chewing. Its kind creepy. I want to keep testing it with various words and phrases but MLB doesnât want me to piss off the car!

Yeah this AI stuff is pretty scary. How close are we to the terminator shit. I know itâs kind of crazy thought but how many movies have been made over the years that turned out to be some truth or forecast. Comparison, the movie China syndrome or Silkwood and the 3 mile island debacleâŚ

Many car manufacturers nowadays have both an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plug-in build in their vehicles. When the driversâ phone is connected, commands are taken over by the phone and thus youâre either talking your Google Assistant or Siri for the Apple users, through your cars audio system tho.
Ask it to tell a joke next time. Theyâre super lame tho, youâre warned.
