All that being said seedlings are still pretty tough. The ethos that’s growing in my room right now two of those plants the seed pushed up out of the rock wool. I actually grabbed the route gently with a pair of hemostats all the way to the tip of the root and gently pushed it down into the Rockwool. Then I took a small piece of rock wool and shoved it in the hole in the top. Next day everybody was happy. Most of the time I just split my seeds in water and then drop them into the Rockwool cube and pull a little piece off the side and shove it. It seems to work really good for me. This time around I’m growing in Pro Mix and I just split the seeds stuck them in a quarter inch deep cover them up and I’ve had 100% success with them so far. :+1:t3:

Candy store is killer it’s an 80% I believe right now I have skunk hero mandarin skittles and Cherry Garcia and I have a 10th planet going but I think that plants gonna be a failure. So I won’t be able to test that one.

Go to Ethos site, they have full writeups on all their seed genes. This grow I am doing is OKC short for Orange Kush Cake, but they discontinued it. Can’t get the seeds anymore, but I think I still have 4 seeds, if I do, I am going to clone it next grow, this stuff looks like it’s going to be killer stuff. I saw Hap mention the Candy Store before gonna go check that out. Other than the two strains that didn’t sprout, I love Ethos genetics.

Hey Prey, don’t remember where I read it or even when lol…but I read that the small hair roots off the main roots are the ones that suck up all the water and nutes, and what the inoculants attach to. If I remember right it also said that they die off and new ones are grown and that the reason that you have to add inoculant on a regular basis to inocoulate the new hair roots in the pot. Have you ever read that too?

It would make sense as it is reccommended that you put in emzymes to break down all the dead roots as the grow progresses. (hair roots dying?)

How’s the brightness? Do you have a lux app on your phone to check the output?

@sssportsmfg when I turned it on it was set at 60% I took it up to 100% then I decreased it to 50%. That picture shows it at 50%. I’m going to download an app in a couple of hours to see if the PAR is the same of my charts for it. I’m waiting to download the app because I’m waiting on a call from the VA. I set it up to come on at 7 PM and go off at 1 PM. I want to make sure I set the timer right. That thing will blind you at 100%. Lol! and it’s bright at 50%. My Controller 69 and A6 clip on fan will be here Monday, I am patiently waiting for them to see how they all work together. I’m going to use this setup to test out VPS nutes in a Chocolope plant. As soon as I get some PAR Reading I’ll post them. I guess I should order a LUX meter but I’ll probably just use an app that Migro recommended in one of his YouTube video’s.

@sssportsmfg I downloaded the photone beta app. Right now center at 50% power 21.5 inches is giving me a reading of 259 PARS. I’m going to play with it some more tonight when the lights come back on and make some Par charts at different heights and power settings.

That’s pretty damn good for 50% and 21 inches away. Even the big boys only do around 250-300 on the edges at full power.

I plan on taking readings at 50%, 70% and 100% with heights at 12, 14, 18 and 24 inches tonight. Making a spread sheet now! Lol! Will post the results in the morning.

There’s lots of them on my journal. Go back three or 400 post to the beginning of last summer’s grow and you can see pictures of it from the start. Nice big open plant with killer smoke.:+1:t3:
