It’s nice of you to ask, but you don’t have to! Just watch and follow whoever can teach you things you want to learn! I am sure that as long as we are respectful, nobody here minds a few followers and questions!
sorry thought i was in your journal (milk)
time to lay off those gummies
The other one is Growing on a budget…
I’ll tag you in.
“Typically the humidity will be a bit higher for the seedlings (65-70%) and then lower when they are moved into veg (40-60%). Most growers will lower the humidity gradually, by about 5% per day before moving their seedlings into veg.” As what one of my teachers said. @MK3_Pharms @devjyarn
Also you could add the Lemon or the Green Lime on that list to bring the pH down.
Definitely good Idea supporting them stem like that if they’re lengthy but I think transplanting could wait a bit longer… Don’t want to stress out too much so early in it’s life
Some pretty good info about seedlings… Overpotting etc.
Funny enough. I have build one years back. It was a fun project. Grew a couple of plants in him. But later became my seedling grow box.
What reflective material are on the side of your hrow box?
Looks like a Emergency Blanket…
I first became addicted to building my own computers after reading an article in Boot magazine. The guys had built a PC in a beer fridge… it was amazing, the coolest computer ever! But this one is even better!!!
It can be “Hotspots” created by the light off the reflective material in your growbox.
I have built other discrete growboxes to. Currently a converted bedside table is in my bedroom, for my seedlings. Nothing in it now. I already have 12 plants outside.
I’ve read that late. I’ve already transplanted all the seedlings hours ago.
Foil. But that tips from one of the experts in the next below, was and being in my mind till I’ve the financial ability to bring one of that beneficial supports.
“Some helpful tips”
“If you can, paint the room with flat white latex paint or use mylar instead of using reflective foil. The white paint and mylar have reflective properties of 85% and more vs. the 55% the foil has. All the creases and bend reduce the reflectiveness dramatically.” As what the expert mentioned in the advisement.
Foil and Emergency blankets are cool, but not very good for reflecting the light the plant need. They cause hotspots on the plants. Much like burning ants with a magnifying glass. White paint, mylar and car window reflectors works the best.
You need a CPL small holes in your homeade dome no air at all makes fungus/mold thrive
Nice catch @hoppiefrog!
Alternatively, you could drill holes near the top of the lip of your container @Hemp_Nature.
Just thinking out loud here. Do those lights have some sort of switch or dimmer for veg and bloom?
It looks like the blue leds are off in the right one…
Could you explain that more to me please.
Excellent, I’ve noted it.
Could you explain what does that mean please.
