I’ve been wondering why not I use same as the previous expert’s idea on integrates the different types of lights on this round too, to accelerates the plants growth instead of wasting time, which is definitely an excellent idea with the current abilities as I estimated.
So, the new light effects just has been gathered with the previous type of light and launched its radiation on the seedlings hours ago today, December 14, 2019 as shown in the pictures,
I utilized two white papers of A4 to I be able to notice the red spectrum hue variation and its strength from every single LED bulb, but that results what has been given from each one, which was more than I intended, as shown,
Try not to put your lights too high, or the seedlings will stretch like crazy.
Maybe try to make some humidity domes. @scotty17 and @missiles helped me figure those…
I think that kind of media needs some of additives to repair it well, as you mentioned @rickles. Which made me afraid to use it for the plants yet till unless becomes fixed well.
Yes of course same as what we could notice, it is needs adjustment on its pH range, pulse something that may be capable to make the media soft but not moist cause decay.
So, you recommended me to add perlite to down the pH range and for aerating the media then.
But, do you think the perlite will avoid the strong media’s compression on the plant roots or easy for cannabis plant to penetrates the solid mediums?
Does that burning issue because the high humidity or what?
Could you till me the reason why that issue being happening on it please?
I could remember that I never ever nourished it by any kind of nutrients, and I’m sure there are no additives been inserted on its media, or even up took in its body more than what are already containing in the potting soil’s components!!.
Cool. You just have to check so they don’t get light burned, but I am pretty sure you will be okay!
Personally, I would think about transplanting your babies that have stretched into deeper soil. I would put soil right up close to the first set of leaves. It should help them stay upright and also make more roots.
What do you think @scotty17?
Alright I’ll. I’ve been thinking if I bring some potting soil and mix it with only the sand, which is already available and mixed with the current stony dirt, plus adding perlite all together.
Excellent idea. I never tried that method before with cannabis, but I’ve only tried that with tomato plants and I noticed the roots growth by that method years ago.
If you have enough potting soils try using only that for your babies.
They will get a better start in their life. And, later, when in veg, it will be easier if you already have strong roots.
If you don’t have enough, just put as much as you can and it should still work!
And please don’t forget @Hemp_Nature that I am still a new grower. I don’t know much so don’t do anything you’re not comfortable with on my advice only. Check what the other growers think also!
So that means the cotyledon will cover under the media! Correct? Because I think the cotyledon should be appear to breath!. I think what you meant, I would put the soil right up close to the cotyledon, correct?
