Feel it right after your done watering than each day pick it up and feel the weght that way you can judge how much they are drinking when it get light it needs watering again but don’t let it go completely dry after a couple waterings you’ll get the feel of it and go awe I see
What are u using for feeding
I was using one table spoon of molasses to a gallon but the leaves started to curl upward so my wife said just water for the moment so water for now…
Are you able to post a link to the light?
I have 2 of them and a full spectrum grow light from Walmart too…and been using them since germination
I went on Amazon and couldn’t find it there so I did a web search and these are the first ones I got the did me pretty good for a first grow
It’s also my first grow with the quantum boards so we will see
No you want at least led
When you order a meter get a combo either ph&ppm or ph&tds or ph&ec that way you will at least no what amount of desolveable solids there are in your Tap water. How are you ph’ ing your water when you feed now???
We arnt looking at lumens so much as we won’t to see watts and ppfd values
You need at least a par value of 560 and up at the correct distance is what make photosynthesis happen in other words makes it grow. Yes the lights you are looking at will grow a plant but when you go to flower is when the light is most important as far as output. And the 1200 watt light you are looking at what is the actual power draw not the voltage
Remember just because it says 1200 it isn’t that
Alot of higher end LEDs will be DLC listed as well they do independent tests to verify the lights specs https://www.designlights.org/
Ok @cosmo so I’m just gonna order that one how would my yield be if bought that one should work pretty good for 2-3 plants in a 3x3 area?
Witch one are you getting
The one in the pic u sent me…
Also get what you can afford don’t go into debt or anything I sure did I probably have $3000.00 into it
I’d recommend one with a more natural light spectrum if possible, it makes it easier to diagnose any potential plant/pest problems early on
