Stona, you got it buddy! That stuff is just too damn risky. No stank you!
Happ, thankfully mine were both small enough to pass without surgery. But I have learned a bit about the process you described in my reading, and I’m glad you’re past it.
I’d assumed the pain came from passing the stone out of the body, but as you imply, the more intense pain occurs when the stone loosens up from kidney and tries to get down ureter to bladder. I was thinking, “Well, I’ve never hurt here before!”
Haha! Nightmare fuel!
Wish you a quick recovery and good health @pbaker1111
@pbaker1111 i did past mine through pissing them out to mine was the size of a grain of sugar so not even 3mm never been a fan of pills i wont even take a panadol if i have got a headache my wife thinks i mad
I guess we all hate pills us stoners. I hate taking them and have to say this Og Reek’n is sorting out my seziures. Even smoking her uncured and 2 weeka early just a nice warm buzz
Patience is the hardest thing to do especially when you got smoke to smoke
Rather take 2 gummies than half a pill bro
So true, i do like to sample early. Im glad i did, that last bong sent me to sleep and nearly 2hrs.
Maybe 4 haha
On a non work day gotta function still @TechDCo
Maybe 6 then
haha lol
What have you found to be the biggest difference between auto fem & reg feminized seed growth start to finish? Tips, tricks between the two? From what I’ve seen, auto flower faster, but take a little more attention to Mico matters like trimming, temp, humidity, lighting & consistency to get the desired trichrome profile.
Anything major stick out in your grow journal between regular v auto flower?
I’m not an experienced grower. @TheMadFlascher, @PreyBird1, @happilyretired, and many, many others on here could give you much better answers.
But you were kind enough to ask for my opinion, so I’ll share one. In my limited experience, if you have the seedling and early-veg periods dialed in, an auto might be just as good/easy as a photo grow. But any struggles during those early days will dramatically limit the yield and quality of autoflower buds.
Welcome to the forum @carefreevt glad you joined us!
I like regular plants. In photoperiod. Autos are ok but a lot of people have issues with them. I like to clone plants and re-run the strain here and there and autos cant be cloned And autos cannot be controlled like photos can. You can reveg a photoperiod plant. An auto you cannot. I think they flower way to soon. @mudman does a lot of autos lets get him in here also. Im not a fan of autos ive run them 3x now and im not impressed so far. Also a photoperiod plant can get wayyy bigger before you flower it. So basically you determine how long the plant grows in veg cycle before its flipped to flower. (Control)
Looks like i missed a bit already. Let me do some catching up and I’ll toss in a couple pennies.
All of that completely!
Veg stage is extra critical with autos because you can’t just leave them in veg longer to recover if you have an issue.
BUT if you have your environment dialed in and can read your plants you can crank out QP autos in 84ish days (real world average) from seed to chop. My biggest so far was 6.7oz. Last one i totaled was 5.8. Still trimming one from my last run that looks like it will be about 4.
Consistent feeding (at about ⅔-¾ strength compared to your photoperiods) and as much light as they can handle are key in early veg imo.
Some people will tell you not to defoliate autos. I’ve gotten away from that mindset. WAY away. I defole quite a bit and even prune away lower branches and bud sites. GOOD auto genetics can be treated ALMOST like a photoperiod.
I’m sure i left out a lot, so feel free to reply with any questions.
This is encouraging info, Muddy! I hope to grow some more good autos eventually, and your post gives me hope.
Both plants are still kicking! I’m afraid I’ve let the Zweet Inzanity go for too long, but the trichomes are all still clear. I flipped these plants to flower on Dec. 10. That means they’ve been flowering for more than 11 weeks now. What do you think?
The Crescendo x Grandpa’s Stash is looking pretty good to me, but it seems to be putting out a new round of white pistils again. I’ve fed them with bloom doses a couple of times, and I fear I may have over fed?? What do you think?
The tent cat is still happily consuming her daily leaf. She meows and meows until she gets one.
Any day now, I’ll plant the apple tree in the yard. Just biding my time!
I got some spinach and lettuce seeds planted in the garden. Hope all is well with you!
I don’t see any pictures of the trichomes? i’d say the one that’s Fox tailing if you don’t cut it down it’s going to herm on you. what is the flowering time according to the seed producer? Just looking at them, not magnified they look like their way in the amber to me. But without something close up, there’s no way of telling. you’ll figure it out. In the end it’s up to you.
Well, @happilyretired was right. There were no trichome pics because I am the world’s worst operator of my digital microscope. You know the one I mean; it hooks up to your phone via an app. Anyway, how in the hell anyone can snap pics with one hand while holding the microscope on the bud just so with the other hand is baffling to me! I bought one as a gift for my father last autumn, and he’s a pro with his, so I know it’s not an age issue… Maybe I drink too much coffee!
I am better with my jeweler’s loupe and had been using that one exclusively. Unfortunately, I was missing out. When I endured the frustration and finally got a few pics of the Zweet Inzanity trichomes, I see there are many ambers.
I’m going to take a couple hours tomorrow morning and get this plant chopped, washed, and hung! It’s been a fun ride!
I also took a couple pics of the Crescendo x Grandpa’s Stash, and it’s looking milky. I guess I’ll hang the Zweet Inzanity and then chop Crescendo x Grandpa’s Stash about a week later, once I start trimming the first plant.
Have a great day!
