This strain cross is turning out to be be really great. I cant wait to see what the cross tastes like. The smell of the leaves is really strong and smells of onion/garlic skunky odor hard to pinpoint. But these plants are really agressive on veg growth have a shorter node spacing than the mother, but the green leaves and dank smells went over in the cross. I need to flip mine but i can veg them more. But im going to flip tonight after i take some clones of other plants in the same tent.

So for all of you who follow this thread. I wanted to pick some seeds to show the levels of ripeness of the seeds. By looking at the pods themselves and the color of them. If you see from left to right how the pods start to change in colors and the level of ripeness the seeds is at. I put each seed below its corresponding pod. Generally if you look at the pod and it is a definate yellow at the base of the pod to the tip of the pod the seed is about 1.5 weeks from total ripeness. It can be picked and cured and it will grow. But ive been playing with immature seeds and germinating them. To see how immature a seed can be grown as a baseline for more testing. Then i tested fully developed seeds and what i find is that the more mature seeds will have 2x-3x the vigor of a immature seed. And the immature seeds grew the same but soo much slower. I am still testing what the yields are from the different seedling tests. I was able to slow the growth of the seedling by 1 month compared to a fully developed seed. Plants are the same mother. Same size and growth of the slow plant but it had better branching than the more vigorus seedling. Its definitely an interesting test.

If the tip of the seed pod is yellowing at the tip where the hairs come out and go down. These can be picked but the far right 2 are the ripest.

That’s absolutely amazing how you can tell by the pod… far right almost seems brownish purpulish lol ive never harvested seeds but I’ve always looked for the ones with tiger stripes so to speak lol… Had some unripened green/yellow still grow but not like the ripened ones… They were alot stronger plant also… Amazing how this plant works :seedling::herb::palm_tree:

** pulled up a :chair: and watching :eyes:
happy to see germination testing being done.

recently, a guy selling Freakshow seeds stated that all his seeds are white
but still germinate and he won’t accept returns… so your testing is very interesting …

Yeah if there white there not ready. I have seeds that are like that and there not ready. You can actually see the seeds grow in stages. White is just before they get any markings. Like striping or speckling. And if they just got that speckled skin you can rub it off another sign its not quite done. Ive picked green seeds white seeds. I dropped them at the same time and it was very interesting mature beans popped in 18-24 hours. Immature seeds popped in 36-48 hours. Also were almost 1.5 weeks behind in growth. One seed decided it needed 3 weeks before it popped and grew. Once it got going it grew well. Also immature seeds tend to have more mutations. Out of the tests i did of every 5 seeds of imature ones i saw a 2% of them had odd growths but the grew out of them rather quickly. Out of 40 seeds of well developed seeds sprouted i saw 2 seeds that had sport mutations one was this poly ploid.

Oh i forgot ive also been testing how soon a seed has to “cure” before it can be grown. Thats another interesting test all together lol

you cant get freakshow seeds they are a clone only plant by shapeshifter. Maybe you could try and femanize it. But id say bullshit that strain just released in cali at select dispensaries in a clone only form. Id be leary of that shit. Freakshow seeds ha. Thats good.
