hell yeah. we’ll just stand on the porch and snip a bunch of leaves and come back later and snip off a bunch more. They’re usually pretty dry when harvest day comes.
This past Sunday was awesome. OlyKid and OlyGirl were trimming while I shuttled branches, washed and hung, and did everything I could to keep them comfortable and in their seats (trimming).
O - U - dog!! Tatonka - good trade! lol
What a bargain I’d be happy to simply wash, dry and then bring it to be trimmed. I think the “shuttle” part is a subjective adjective in your case. LMAO
I know I haven’t been very chatty lately. I’m finally not feeling quite as overwhelmed with my summer grow and the rest of what’s going on. So here’s what’s up…
The Runtz and Pop Art are both starting to flower. They are still kept outside 24/7. But they’ll be brought inside to finish before too long.
The Pop Art is just a pain in my ass. It doesn’t like anything I do. I think it’s just mean and spiteful.
…
All these plants are upstairs and have fans that blow air on them at night.
Because I think I want to grow another one in my living room this winter.
…
I jarred last week’s harvest. There’s another box like this one and I’m finished burping those jars (until I just want to pull them out and smell each jar, which happens every few days).
All in all, I’m super happy with this summer’s grow. My plans went off the rails (I only had two plants literally go over the rail), but we only had one bud-rot scare (knock on hemp).
Decarbing a couple zips of Joan buds to make budder
I just will skip it if I really slack off and it’s a 2 months water change. LoL poor fishes swimming in 4.8 nitrites thru the roof shit. That’s nothing my son’s damn turtle don’t get water change until I do it. Imma let Winston go I sware. I put like 5 smaller guppy’s in there and there’s like 10 now. What the what??
My kid’s science project was like that. He made a soda bottle aquarium for some guppies. One lived for a long time … until I cleaned out the water b/c it was so dirty I couldn’t see the guppy. The cleaning killed the guppy. Probably the shock of the change. I didn’t know what I was doing and did it all at once and now I know you’re supposed to do it in increments to give them time to adjust. Methinks your guppies are probably quite happy in the muck.
My first attempt to make feco was a real sh!t show (and real learning experience). I thought I was being careful, meticulous, cautious… but there’s some things you just gotta learn by doing it wrong the first time.
I got a bunch of feco made, but I also spilled a lot of stuff. I reclaimed some of the everclear and I know how to reduce waste next time.
Maybe reduce the time spent making it the time after that. I think that if I spill less, then I won’t stop as many times to clean up. I’m terrified of sticky messes. I used to brew beer and if you ever clean up a huge sticky boil over you know what I mean.
I read an article a couple weeks ago that made a strong case for cold PGA extraction. I tried it for tincture. I didn’t notice any potency difference between it and the heated infusion i did with the machine. There’s a LOT less plant smell though.
