Here’s Backup. 76 days since 12/12.
@freakshow Here’s a pic of the entire plant.

… to be totally honest with you. you have an exquisite backdrop for these photos. It rivals the beauty of your plant.
Thank you. The PNW can be a wonderful place to live and grow!
Wait a minute where are you? Are you here in Cali, or one or two states north. I have a friend moving up to grants Pass. Somewhere, he’s selling his house right nowAnd then he’s going to rent for a little while before we buy something up there. Cool another west coaster
Grants Pass is about six hours south of here maybe five. That’s beautiful country down there!
That’ll do… 2 O’s is worth it! I’ve always listened to @purpngold74 philosophy - 2 O’s and up is a win. That’s a decent amount of smoke even if ya had to stretch it to 1/4 week. Totally doable at 2 bones a day in hard times…
It’s such a beautiful goodbye when we chop…lol
Nice brother. The others have to be getting close no?
she is quite purty. nice job
Yeah they are! I’m gonna wait another week to see if I can tell any difference in effect between the two plants (besides yield). The last time I harvested early v. late, after giving the second harvest a week to dry, a month to cure, and I could find no difference in smell, taste, or effect from the first harvest. I know the axiom of: harvest later, more amber = increased narcotic effect… but with my LIMITED anecdotal experience I couldn’t tell the difference. It didn’t mean I did not spend a LOT of time trying.
Maybe I don’t the refined palette of a sommelier of ganja, but it’s still
. And it’s fun for me to try to be objective when trying to discern any difference.

Very well said Oly… exact same ideology with me. Ive separated my 3 BG by 3 weeks… I shall have better anecdotal evidence. LoL
For realz! Except for my first harvest, I’ve given away a lot more than I’ve smoked. I’m still gifting jars from last fall. That’s also what I’m smoking. But I really grow just for me and for the fun and science of the hobby.
It’s funny that you mentioned @purpngold74 … I adopted part of his growing regimen:
***So a mechanic uses the phrase “suck, squeeze, bang, blow” to describe the cycle of an internal combustion engine. Would it be safe to say that “Stunt, Top, Shorten, Starve” properly describes this method for growing?
Stunt, Top, Shorten, Starve
I think he shut down for a while in order to grow legit. That’s pretty cool to take a hobby to a level of pro-grow.
I haven’t talked to purp in months… oh shit that’s a lie… we chatted on IG about a month back… lol.no.talk of weed though really… Imagine that. Just catching up… maybe a couple plant pics…hmmmm think I’m a little baked!!
@LoCoRocK think I am too. After jarring this morning, I took the leftover branches, knocked off the little calyxes that were hanging on, stuck them in a bowl… and now I can’t get up from the computer and every other word is spelled wrong.
All your Sunset Sherbets look like they had a pretty uniform growth and bud structure in pictures. Did you notice different phenos or significantly better growth from any of them?
that’s a cool show!
I noticed two phenos. One grew buds in pairs (Duchess) and one grew in spirals (Backup). I don’t know if one grew “better”, but I’ll get ya an update for yield in a week when I chop Backup. But Duchess stopped throwing out new pistils before harvest while Backup still is kicking them out.
