Yup, LOL, I can attest to the seeds!
I never remember seeing anything that resembled a calyx/bud!
Stuff was pretty broken up, the only thing apparent were the leaves !
Lol! The 1st time I was offered a bud I was like whatâs a bud?
Hahah, Tidy Thai moaiâs, Pompadours, that poor hawaiian and Nick Nolte mug shots.
Shamed today.
Damn I donât remember my stuff being that ratty lookingâŚbut it might have been. I do remember it was like Hap said loaded with seeds and dry as a bone, used to have Key parties and break them apart and bag em up. And of course smoke the shit out of it all the while. lol

@sssportsmfg ,Looks nice for sure, canât wait to get mine going. It was 83 degrees last Sunday, and It was snowing this morning with a high temperature today 38 degrees , oh ya canât forget the snow storm Easter weekend. Oh well thatâs April in Michigan for ya, lol.
Werâer not that crazy weather wise, but not far off. Down to below 40 last night. My third set of tomato starts are dead, out now. Guess Iâll have to trot to the hardware store again this year.
Marty
I was gonna ask you how you did that PreyâŚdid you just smash them in your fingers and stick the outside of the bud down smooth?
Marty
Well there ainât no roots coming out of the bottomâŚbut she sure doesnât look like sheâs dying either. Chopped it, trimmed the node of leaves, diagnally cut the bottom stuck it in cloning gel and stuck it in the rockwool. watered it with clonex cutting nutes and stuck it in the domed starter tray. Nothing fancy, looks like sheâs gonna make it. Been a week or a little more didnât write down the date.
Oh and only just 16 hrs of light.
Marty
When you clone that way sometimes there slow. Ive seen up to 2 weeks on rooting like that. 4 months ago i dit a huge cut auction and i sold off 36 clones and they were rooted oike that.
Then you get people like bullfrog420 that gets them too root in a cube in 2 days @bullfrog420
My wife has the record. She rooted an entire baby tray in 24hrs. My normal is between 7-10 days for full root explosion out of the bottom of my medium.
I was reading about some tips on cloning and preparing the mother plant for cloning. They were even adding small amounts bloom nutrients. Ill have try and find that article.
Dang! That GIRLâs got talent!!!
Tell her to get on here and learn these boys a thing or two!
No shit ! Hell have her and @bullfrog420 do a complete cloning tutorial !
Iâm actually glad this is doing a slow boat thing. I have 8-10 weeks of flower to get through, and am going to flip to flower tomorrow. SO they will have plenty of time to root, decided that I am going to split the difference and clone them at 1.5 weeks into flower.
Marty
@PreyBird1 I.m sure that I could have got the rooting done a lot faster, 24 hr light etc, but was totally not worried about the time. This was a leaf trimming mistake clone lol. Just wanted to practice a little make sure I could get six for the next grow.

Plan on starting them in the little 2" square seedling starter pots like the ones that come with the tray/dome kits. They are deep enough to need two blocks of rockwool to fill them up like in the picture.
After they out grow them, I plan on putting them into my 20oz started cups like I use for my seed starts in pure coco. when they fill them up, into the big pots. I figure they will be about 8-10 inches tall by then after 8 1/2 weeks from cutting them. (which is a week and a half from now) Flipping to flower tomorrow.
Plants still have yellow tips, have done everything I can think of. Organic nutes at half strength, full strength. Organic Cal/Mag only with Phâed water. Still yellow some not as bad as others, the worst for the yellow tips are the Runtz, the best are the Candy store.
I have 1190 watts of light in my 5x5 tent, so gave them full strength on the base, and added the boost as reccommended by Earth Dust, and have been having to feed them on top of that. Still yellow. No burnt tips, no yellow leaves except at the growing tip. I am giving up on figuring it out.
At this time I wonât do Earth Dust again, unless the flower turns out to be phenominal.
Marty
You can use small amounts like general hydroponics recommends 1/4tsp of micro, grow, and bloomâŚph, inwoukd shoot for around 5.8 ph and then go to town!!! Lol
