I didn’t do it was another farmer. Vacuum sealed with industrial machine. But its low quality flower. Like old commercial.
Well just have run out of ideas to get these girls green on the top, so just gonna have to go with the flow. Kicked them into flower yesterday and yes I double checked the timer…one of them lol…went downstairs 5 minutes after lights out and low and behold I set my big timer for the main lights and fixture cooling fans back to 12…but not the two auxillary timers for the Far red and Infared and UVA boards. So witht he lights being out I just unplugged them for the night and then reprogrammed the timers this morning so EVERYTHING is on 12/12 lol. Wasn’t gonna pull that dummy move again.
Here is a shot of the top of my pots, (they all pretty much look the same, some more some a little less…don’t know how you could get any more inocculated than this… two different pots
i just know somewhere there are a hoard of fungus gnats just smacking their little lips lol.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend !

Well it’s only been three days since I flipped and they are stretching BIG time. Going up 2" a day. Lots of long new soft tips. Starting to bunch up on the ends and putting out some pistols.
Marty
Still two days shy of a week on the flip…and they are flowering up.
Hope everyone is having a fantastic day!

This is just a quick Kudos to an online vendor…580 Garden supply. On Monday I inquired about a product they were out of stock on, via an email, within minutes they answered and said it would be in stock by the end of the week or on Monday. I just got another email from them that it was in stock early and availible for purchase. Great service and best price I found on the product as well.
Marty
Just a one week flip update with pics.
Three more days and it will be strip em’ and clone em’ time.

@TheMadFlascher Ok the Citric acid came last night, didn’t get my order in in time for free shipping but only paid $2.99 for 6-midnight delivery. So when I got up this morning there it was. Now just to be accurate and before I muck this up…if I weight 100g of water I would add 59 grams of citric acid to it and then soak it up and let it dry correct?
Happy mothers day to all you ladies…and on that note, I am going to a lady friend of mine’s house and trimming and cutting her lawn for her for mothers day…
Got the vitamix out put all the sugar leaves in a pan outside in the sun to get good and dry before the vitamix chop, then it’s on to the musch making lol.
Good morning everyone.

If I’m understanding what you’re saying, I’m thinking you need to read the article again or for the first time if you didn’t yet. I only read it once so I’m not absolutely certain but I think you’re supposed to mix the moist citric acid with the dried flower while the mixture is moist. And then I think it said to sit it out for like a week or some shit to dry and finish up. Here’s the article for you to read.
Marty, that’s correct…in your example with 100 grams of water you will add 59 grams of citric acid.
I just looked at the article again, and it states fine grinding your plant material into a POWDER…so I’m concluding your buds (etc.) would be very dry…
Also, they’re not talking about ‘soaking’ the plant material with citric acid, but rather ‘moistening’ it,
so my take is you would slowly add the citric acid while stirring it in a container, Looks like you are trying to make sure it’s all wet WITHOUT any excess water.
I don’t see any reason you couldn’t use plant material that had some moisture to it, as long as you can grind it fine…
Well a little outside garden this fine beautiful day here in St. Louis.
My cherry tomatoes supposed to be like 4 colors.
The banana patch
Canna’s coming up
The raised bed garden lettuce and radishes
My spices

Exactly Bob and @happilyretired just gonna make up the citric acid solution and wet the powdered pot till completely moist but not running liquid, then put it out to dry at room temp.
Think I might do it tomorrow lol…had about a case of beer gummies and a couple joints…kinda not wanting to work lol.
Marty
Sounds like a good time to me…
Gotta keep up with the anti fungal for roots and medium as well as fungal foliar spray brother. Avoid the head aches. It’s a drag!
Well I made up the powder, made up the acid mix, and wetted the powdered sugar leaves. You could smell the chemical reaction of the acid a mild acetic burning smell as you add the liquid to the leaves. It also turned red, which I’m gonna guess is a chemical reaction between the terpenes, and cannibioids in the powder.
Edit updated with better pics…and another observation…
Put it on a baking sheet and put it outside in the sun, the wind is blowing at 30+ so shouldn’t take long to dry. It turned from a normal golden green color of powdered bud to reddish brown.
Here is a freshly wetted small blob that I gained by cleaning off the blades and cracks in the blender glass, and wetted it, then put it outside on the cookie sheet next to the first done. You can see the color difference, look at the small piece in the center right, that is the just wetted before turning color. This process also make it get granular…it was perfect powder when I wetted it.
Now we let it dry…lips smacking lol…@rflash
Marty
Nice job Marty!
Now we’re anxiously waiting for the potency report! You got that done pretty quick!
Hey, LOL, for a preview of coming attractions…did you lick your fingers???
No thought about it though…it was a pretty concentrated solution at 59g of Citric acid to 100g of water. Probably burn my tounge off lol. It is a somewhat viscous liquid.
Did you expect the red color change Bob the chemist man? @rflasch
Marty
I have several people that will volunteer to be Guinea pigs for any gummie lol.
Marty
Marty, honestly, I had no idea what the effect on color would be.
Yes the 59/100g water is indeed the max dilution of citric acid in water…that is what we were looking for!
Once you have the reaction, the citric acid is ‘gone’…that’s why you can safely ingest it !
Actually citric acid being an organic acid, is not near as reactive as inorganic acids (Sulfuric, nitric, phosphoric). When transferring the citric acid from one metric ton supersacks, into our weighing tank we do it outside but don’t wear any protective gear. It does make me sneeze but that’s about it!!
If you get it in a cut or scrape it will make you holler hi-de-ho and I certainly wouldn’t want it in my eyes! It’s granular structure makes it fairly dust free so there isn’t much exposure for us.
Do you think a chemical reaction is instant or does it take the time of the drying process to complete the decarboxylation process? Just a guess would suffice
Well apparently it takes at least 5-10 minutes just guessing because of the length of time it takes to change color, I]m guessing that is the length of the reaction.
