Iâll never do anything except air graft for my clones now. So easy. They just donât wilt, slow down or anything. Fantastic root ball, take off air graft pod pop in pot and you have strong vibrant plant that isnât at all fussy about light or humidity like a cloning machine clone is.
When you transplant them they donât wilt down, you donât have to put a humidity dome over them. You donât have to clip the tips off leaves, none of that stuff. When I first decided to try it, I really already knew it would work, because if you stick a bottom limb into the dirt at the top of the pot they always root.
Here is my air clones three weeks after cutting them off the plants.
Just look at those rootsâŚcow poop pots.
The pots are 6" high to the top. 2/3 gallon.

Thats why i do not use clone machine domes. I clone in the enviroment they cam from. They dont wilt or get fussy with moisture. I hate domes for that reason. I get 100% success rate on clones every time in 10-14 days. And my roots can get up to 24" in length. And i use a cloner also because i grow in hydro as well. and im not trying to rinse rootballs out to put into hydro and contaminate my whole system with dirt and shit. But those look pretty cool. I mean ive cloned every way possible. And cloned every part of the plant testing clones. But never used those before. And the cloner doesnt need anything but water and clonex. And i can get 2.5yrs out of 4oz. Bottle of the clone gel.
Well I sure get that Prey. I grow in soilless or soil so it works perfect for me. Didnât know you never use a dome when you are cloning. I only did clones two times with my cloner and put the dome on, every time I took the damn dome off they got yellow and wilted just had a fit. So I would have to put it back on, then i had to get a timer for the cloner as running it all the time the water got too hot and killed the roots, of course I got all that sorted out, but thought man what a pain in the ass lol.
