I put a thin layer of chunky P out of habit. Helps hold the coco in Octopots so I adopted the same method for the air pots … not needed though

It just keeps media in the pot better. That coco coir falls right out and makes a mess. Then you got coffee geinds looking shit floating around your flood trays in the tents. Im gonna try and make thise self draining saucers link. Because that guano shit leaks every where when i water to run off. I suck it up with a shop vac. But still annoying when there 25 plants leaking there run off samples. I can get a swimming pool going on. Lol
