So @treetrunks is your hydro system plumbing set up so that the watering happens through that top ring only? And it drains down? Or is there tubes below that also to move water? Ive always wanted to make a top water set up. Is that a drain to waste? Recirculating?

Recirculating, the water comes in through the top watering rings and drains mostly through taps in the bottoms of the buckets. During the flood cycles the waterline rises up to the top pipe that leads back down to the reservoir as well. It helps to hold the waterline during floods and prevents overflowing of the buckets. I’ll try to grab a few pictures of below the buckets tomorrow.
Alot of the ebb and flow kits are pretty nice to, you can put the buckets on the ground vs on a stand so you save a little extra height. Finding a stand that can hold the weight of full buckets and fits a reservoir and valves under it for the diy one can be a bit of a pain

Yeah that’s a sweet set up. Ive been toying with a few ideas. I now have aquired 2) 4x4 flood trays. And 2) 2x4’ flood trays. And im trying to get my hydro skills down right now. Im about the run the Rdwc sysyem again for the 5th run. I keep having to mich rapid growth and longggg stretch times. So im trying to trelis them more to where my setup up is just right. But Its been kicken my ass.

What brand carts are you using?
I made one to try out the method. How did you make yours? What did you use to keep the oil being too thick? What did you use?
How big are those carts? 2 grams? Do you use a heated cart filling gun? I would like to know more. Id like to make just rosin vape carts. No thinners no terpenes added. I might try what @nacho151 uses and get me a distillation kit to make some natural terpens to add to carts. What are you decarbing the rosin In?

@PreyBird1 I used 1 ml ccell carts, this batch was no added terpenes. They’re roughly 1g each, I don’t use a heat gun but that would definitely make the process easier. After decarbing while it’s cooling and still warm and runny I fill the carts with a glass syringe with a blunt tip needle. Every once and a while I’ll need to heat up the jar of hash rosin a bit if it cools too far. The cooler it gets the thicker it will be and more difficult to get into the syringes and carts. I decarb in a mason jar in the oven.
What kind of carts are you using how’s it all going?

It’s also possible to seperate some terpenes from hash rosin if you make some diamonds and sauce. You can avoid heating the terpenes during the decarb that way and mix them back in after as well

Im using the 760glass.com all glass carts w/ceramic coils. They work great i let my neighbor try the one cart i made. And he really likes it. I have a couple terpine flavors
