one little gold leaf seedling. lets see what happens.
i am waiting to see how yesterdays adventure went. i replaced a bathroom sink faucet in a rental! all by myself!!! i love youtube! watched a few videos and did it myself! now if they call me today and say their house flooded and the sink is in the backyard i will call a plumber.

In case of spidermites, you could also take your plant to the shower or sink and give it a good, thorough rinse. It will deter them and rinse away some of them. Mites hide in the crevices or undersides of leaves and these fellas will not be affected by showering the plant. So it’s definitely not a stand-alone solution. Repeat the process weekly and combine with other ways of mite control and you should be able to drastically reduce the mite infestation.

ok one gold leaf plant looked weird to me so i got the magnifying glass and sure as shit it was growing upside down. i dug it out and replanted. not sure if it will live that root was pretty dark. the other had the seed cap stuck and i may have ripped a cote off. i may have to change the name of this thread to the disabled grow.

Gotta love the lil tard plants that start off backwards to begin with. I wonder if that has any direct correlation becoming a tranny planny? So get this … Speaking of faucets. Bob and I were surprised when new guy Jermaine said he has side work installing a bathroom faucet this weekend. He hasn’t been very “mechanical” since being hired and he’s mainly “groundskeeper”. So he does the side gig Saturday and office was inundated with voicemails come Monday. He didn’t click / tighten what have you the water line all the way so it popped loose and flooded dudes bathroom. LMAO 
Soooooo - now guesss what! We are not supposed to do friggen faucets anymore. I have kitchen faucet to do after work today coincidentally. LoL but I’m not taking no sidework for a month as I have a 3 bedroom unit to paint. Charged her 4k w materials. I usually don’t do big jobs but that pays for my vacation to new York for Thanksgiving. Win win!!

WAIT!!! you get 4k for painting a 3 BR apt??? MF i should be swimming in money. all i do is paint. i went back and checked my sink install and they were so happy said it was great. i always buy moen or price pfister until i had 2 moens fall apart at the same time. i switched to american standard. lets see how long it lasts. people are rough as hell on shit they dont pay for. i also wont buy whirlpool anything anymore.

I have a buddy helping me paint the unit right now. LoL the first unit I painted here 3 years ago I did for 2k w/ materials.
I have a painter that’s in my building all the time I’ve become friends with. I asked him to take a look at it with me see if we’d do it together. I thought I’d impress him and say I was gonna charge 3k including material costs & He about choked saying he’d charge 45 + mats & that was without the 2 walls of wallpaper removal. Times have changed and paint has gotten expensive’r he says. Btw this is walls only, no base or doors. He says he adds $200 an opening additional for doors & bifolds.

my 2 goldleaf are baby seedlings. lets see if i can control these better. i found 2 more pill bottles full of weed! yay me! i am doing the best i can to kill my plant thats in flower. i have graduated to a laptop now (i bought a new one) so maybe i can get some pics. while i was struggling to decide what kind of stove i wanted to buy the washing machine broke. I BOUGHT A NEW ONE!!! i cant believe i just walked in and said i want that one. it gets delivered thursday.! look at me go. cooking or clean clothes? i choose clean clothes. i dont give a crap if i ever cook for anyone ever again . F all that!

I seriously sleep eat, although its gotten way better in recent years without my high stress 80 hr/week old job come to think of it. But it’s like midnight munchies and you wake up with Oreo smushed across your face! Wake up like I am not smoking that again before bed.

i am not kidding. i stood in front of (sorta) the light switch and couldnt get it to work. wasnt i surprised that it worked in the morning! hey! i just hooked up my new washer. i had to take the dryer out so i could get the washer in and i replaced the vent hose and then saw the vent cover outside was broken so i replaced it too. i leveled that washer like i knew what i was doing!!!

Good stuff mamasuhn! I came into work this morning to a broken tenant door hanging off the hinges. Damn fire department needs a gentler approach. One of my favorite tenants but she’s leaving soon as this has been here 3rd fall this year. Going to assisted living in December. Last time they busted her door just the top latch broke off from the inside but the door is split this time. Her name is Judy and she is the nicest old lady. She is always talking about " when she dies" and I am in her will to take her cat… LMAO

ok why is it men get all snarky when i know something they dont. i have been working on houses more than 20 years. i worked with a guy yesterday that got a F ing attitude with me just because i showed him how to use a caulk gun. he didnt know how. i was stunned. then he wanted to fuss because i had screws and not nails. i had to ask him what is your f ing problem! turns out he only owned a hammer. so i let him use my drill. i owned all the tools and even the ladder was mine too. we got in an argument over caulk vs spray foam. i had both and he found out there are places caulk wont work. lord this next generation is in trouble. if you can see all the reasons you cant do something instead of finding a solution to the problem you are screwed.

Although being a man myself, I can really understand your frustration Trish. Goes to show gender equality is a goal which we have far from accomplished yet, even in our Western world. Mansplaining is another beautiful example.
