Digging through the bud fridge found a QP of some wedding cake didn’t know it was in there looks pretty good think I’ll load up the column and do a blast with half of it tomorrow😜

Loaded up a column the other day of some Tahoe 18 had it in the deep freeze for a couple of days put a can of butane in the deep freeze today for 30 minutes assembled the column put it under vacuum and then shot a can of butane in until the column pressure equalized with the can pressure gave it a 7 minute soak been slowly let it start to blast once pressure was low and the gas was still coming out with a yellow hue added the rest of the can of butane as an open blast with no soak to completely rinse the material of any trichomes used a seedling heating mat this time for off gassing off /purging went with a lot lower temp this time went with 75-78 ish degrees product looks a lot nicer it’s still under vacuum for another 40ish hours trying to get some nice crumble or badder consistency

I think even with bho extract fresh off plant recover or evap butane then do the machine to cure it for the good taste ect. I tried fresh and if not cured it dont have a good taste to it atleast what i did dint have a pleasing taste to it.

The BHO I made the first run tastes very nice also Burns very clean compared to the pressed products maybe worth giving it a shot if I can get it figured out to get some nice wet consistency but the first round I tried whipping it and it still just dries back up hard like shatter so I don’t really know that you would need to cure the shatter product of course I’m no pro I’m just winging it here as I learn more I will experiment more there’s no shortage of material to go in the column here’s the cookie I got from that last run haven’t peeled it off the mat or anything this is with a 24-hour Purge at room temperature roughly 72 / 74 after initial evaporation down to a thick oil

Try and use a double boiler to just warm ut up a touch to whip it. Sometimes when i do blast it comes out as shatter. If i put heat to it a slight toich its usually not as brittle as it was before the heat. Maybe just needs a touch of warmth to get it whippable lol. Bho is way better taste i think also.
