Well I’d say that’s pretty strong LOL!

Ya I have looked into them a couple of times, but don’t have the balls to pull the trigger on them lol.

Cubensis is all primarily the same. Where the strength comes from is the genetics and growing conditions. I generally “clean up” spores before I run it. I usually will transfer a small piece of mycelium to new agar multiple times.

I am in the process of “growing” another species panaeolus cyanescens. These generally contain higher alkaloids. My first attempt failed. Got another batch on grains.

Hey @CoyoteCody, thanks for the tag and definitely watching your progress. Hopefully see me doing something very similar in the new year. Looking at growing shiitake and oyster mushrooms. More than likely grow some psychedelics too once I am running. Happy growing.

I’ve done spore prints in the past when I had a nice cubensis grow setup @KevGrows. This was back in 1999-2002 when we were cranking out 10-12 lbs a week on slabs of mycelium packed vermiculite and ground brown rice. It was a sweet setup at the time, but it ended up getting busted.

I’ve never tried pulling spores out of dried caps @sssportsmfg. The only way I know how to do it is with freshly picked caps. Then putting them on tinfoil, parchment paper, or a plain piece of white paper.
Then you will be able to get spores and keep reproducing your same strain of cubensis.

I have some Psilocybin Tampanensis spores that were gifted to me for some clones.
These are my all time favorite strain to grow and partake. Very visual and they will make you tripp balls if you over consume.
Their the only psychedelic I’ve had a bad trip on cuz I was a dumbass and ate 7 grams in a couple hours.
Bad idea! Lol:joy::rofl:

You can start a liquid culture with a piece of dried gill.

The spores are in the gills of all mushrooms, if you have a dried cap, just crunch it up and there will be spores in the crunched up part, the spores don’t care if they are on a piece of paper, tin foil or still in the gills, it’s just like if you planted a canna bud with seeds in it, they would sprout. They are just the “seed” of a mushroom., different but the same. We are lucky in respect to magic shrooms being able to be grown on substrates like rice, many shrooms are symbiotic and very symbiotic dependent. Many only grow on certain trees, or certain tree roots that are dead or alive in the ground.

Nice those are so weird looking.

Very nice, after another contaminated syringe, I decided to go to another place and finally got some beautiful black spores instead of a white clump.

Yeah the guy that produces these has quite an exotic selection. These are a cross between penis envy and true albino teacher. Approach these with caution. Haha
