Electroculture Theory

Anybody using electroculture, basically using magnets and copper to “liven” up the soil. I fell down a rabbit hole awhile ago regarding electroculture. Few weeks later, I bought a half dead tomato plant. Came home, repotted it and using a magnet attached to a copper coil, inserted it in the dirt. That tomato plant is thriving today. Could it be the copper and magnet, maybe, maybe not. Anyhow, I’ve done the same thing with my ladies. Curious if anybody has done the same

hi @melissa420

Welcome to GN. There are a couple posts about electro culture that you might be interested in, I was a bit of a pessimist but I am starting to think, maybe!!!

I would love to know, if you dont try, I guess. Post some pictures for us to see.

I havnt tried it but so curious as to if it works or not. I’m indoor growing and from ways I see it and read on if u put copper wire in the pot and connect it to a ground rod in the ground it does some kind of something idk but super curious if it works. I see u use a different method and I’m gonna read on this now with the magnet but try connecting the rod u have in the pot plants bucket or pot with wire and have that connected to a ground rod shoved atleast 4 feet into the ground for vest grounding purposes. Watch this tho it was pretty interesting lol.

The tomato plant really got me thinking and was my major decider on trying. I sleep on grounding sheets and have found I sleep way better as well, tried it one night without and woke up a lot :woman_shrugging: It’s definitely an interesting topic lol.

I’ve seen a few people use it with good success I used my own little version of it I pounded a 1-in copper pipe in the ground and put it tomato cage in the top for an antenna and I noticed considerable difference in my garden this year and there was no pests at all I have recently put a couple of steaks with the copper wire with nine twists around it 6 ft tall at my fruit trees they’re just babies to see how that does
