2 out of 2 lights have malfunctioned within months. Spectrum X isn’t a quality light. You sent me a used and damaged replacement the first time and I would rather have my money refunded. I can’t afford to play the guessing game every crop cycle.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt but now the second light has malfunctioned. The only satisfactory solution is a full refund.
Yep sounds light shitty lights man sorry you have to deal with it. I have a nugsmasher touch press and its a piece of shit in my eyes. Started malfunctioning on the 6th press! And i have had nothing but issues trying to get them to warranty it! I feel your pain my press is a $2600 waste of money! Im going to get it warranteed eventually but what a shit show it has been dealing with nugsmasher. Ive called them 3 times and had numerous chats and im seriously annoyed and im about to call them out on social medial and they wont like it.
Dulytek lol quart or less the cost of nugsmasher does the same thing and ive really yet to jave an issue with mine in over 2 years first kack jad a bad leak otherwise great since. They ocasionally jump temps a few degree but usually drop back fown and stays from there.
I called them again and finally made some progress. I got the shipping for the unit free and shipping back for repairs for free. So i can finally send it back!
Grandaddy Purple and Monkey Slapz are getting over 1200 PPFD in the center and 545-645 PPFD around the outside. Sonofarm 400 watt really cranks out the PPFD but it’s too bad it has such a small footprint
With the quantum boards it’s all about finding the right height because it’s a smaller footprint the higher you raise it off the canopy the further out the footprints spreads try raising your light a little you will get better coverage and more even numbers
If you put four ratchet strap hangers on It instead of the cables you can take it as high as you want to a point you’ve got to leave a little air gap or you can take your cables and double them up if it comes with four use two on each side from corner to corner and hook to that makes it shorter you just have to make a little cinch on the top
Take a pic of the top of the light setup let me see what it looks like. My 260xls have like fishing lure type cords with hook end deals i use one per side so it was half the length gets me almost to top of tent. Or just use zipties to the top supports
I have a similar issue. I solved it by using the celing above the tent outside of it. I make 2 small slits in top of the tent and slide the ratchet straps through the slits. I add 2 screw eyelets that have 100+ lbs rating and i screw them into the ceiling then you can pull the light so high it can touch the ceiling above the poles. Dont burn the ceiling or over heat the light!
There is just a tiny slit but i put tape on the slit and the light bracket in (case) of a light leak but ive never had an issue and you dont sit and look at the top of the tent above the lights anyways. Not a big deal really.
Thanks for the tip I will probably do that if I end up getting more LEDs like that Sonofarm.
MedicGrow is being a pain in the ass to get a refund from. They’re sending me another replacement for the 2nd LED that quit working. The 1st one they replaced is still working but I feel like it won’t last long.
You can see Monkey Slapz is falling all over itself. I tried supporting the buds with bamboo skewers but I think I have to use the full size bamboo poles instead.
U can stick a few longer bamboos in the pot and tie strings fro yop of the poles to buds to hold the weight ur gonna have to or they r gonna get heavier and smotger eachother lol. Do it now as its just starting to avoid rot or any hot spots to form and create a rot or mildew
It’s Flowering Day 47 but Monkey Slapz is nearly all orange stigmas already. Sour Diesel is close to the same.
@PreyBird1 If they are supposed to flower for 70 days (10 weeks for Diesel) but harvesting after all hairs have turned brownish is too late, when should I be harvesting?
Trichomes are nearly all cloudy already as well.
Could this be due to 85ish temperatures in my tent?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with 85 degrees. The only caveat to that is you MUST have good airflow. And it certainly looks like you do. Very healthy. Mine are at the moment outside, and here in MO it is still getting to 90+ even close to mid September. It is maturing, if it was me, I would wait a bit until I see about 5-10% amber, that seems like to me to be the best overall high.
The plants will grow fine at 85°, but in flower that’s going to take a lot of your terpins and flavor away they start to evaporate off mid-70s
yep I would definitely let it Amber up a little or you will end up with a racier high if it’s at its prime THC unless that’s your preference
