Well I’m kinda handy but I don’t have experience with electrical. Don’t you have to be an electrician to do that?
I do my own electric work and do it to code. I worked for big builder here and know how to do it right. It’s pretty simple to me but it could be a little overwhelming if u never did it before. Don’t know where you live but in NY u need permits and liscence electrician but what they don’t know don’t hurt.

was the light on another circuit not just another outlet maybe issues with the light if you put it on a circuit without much draw and it’s blinking could be issues with the driver or a loose wire somewhere is the power cord continuous or is ther a coupling right after it comes out could be a loose wire

Tomorrow I’m going to spend the day figuring out what circuits are where. I have 100 feet of extension cord to make it happen even if I have to run it upstairs or something.
I really hope I can get this working or I just wasted a lot of money

Had that problem with my hlg light it was blinking 1 of the tee Conections was loose and when light got hot thats when it would flicker. So would have to agree it could be connection in light or power supply.

Do u have microwave in your house if so look to see where it is plugged in and connect your light to that outlet. If house was built within the last 15 yrs microwave should be on it’s own 20 amp circut.run your extension cord from there to light. If it still flickers it in your light. Hope this helps.

@jj520 well the same thing happens no matter the outlet or circuit. After about 5 minutes running fine it starts blinking again.
This is the LED that I used throughout the entire first grow with zero issues. I don’t understand why this is happening.
Should I contact MedicGrow?

Yes definitely it’s probably a loose wire somewhere in the light they should send you a shipping label and everything to return it for free and then send you a new one it’s under warranty I’m sure you just got them not long ago and let them know you’re in the middle of a grow using it and maybe they will rush you one

Probably a bad connection in the light when it gets hot it loosens up. That’s y it starts flickering after 5 min.

I haven’t been keeping up with training or defoliation as well as I should have but they’re still being trained.
Monkey Slapz has a great smell like no other I have smelled. It’s not growing as evenly as the others but I have faith that I can remedy that in the coming weeks.

Is there any visible wites u see thatbu can move and make sure there is not a bad spot in a wire causing it maybe. What light is it again im gonna do some research and see if this is a reoccuring issue or not and if so what the fix was.

@scryptic I would wait for medic grows response before you go digging into the light trying to fix anything that may void warranty just my opinion

So far most flickering lights i see had loose wire or connection point. Few qere bad drivers. Id sift theu all wires and see if u get the flicker moving wores around to find a bad spot. If that dont work get on the horn qoth medic and maybe they send u another loght and not make u send that one back and jave some spare parts.

It would be if u dig into the driver. Just wiggle every wire from end to end give a slight twist a little pull and push all around every wire all across it to see if there is a bad spot or what not. If u dont find something that way then id call the company service department exain and see what they say. Tell them u cant go qithoit if they want u to send back tell them send u one then u send the old back whatever. They may just send a bew one if thwy dont wanna go thru hassles of returns and such. Ove seen alot of light places do this. Ill just say never ever ever buy lights from toolotsdotcom in cali i believe they sale all offbrand crap and list it as other brands like codys enfun boards have meanwell drivers and uva chips work. His are all one single heatsi k. My supposed enfun boards are on single heatsi ks not meanwell drivers and the iva chips r there but never lit up from day 1. Lights grew great bud ran hot but i wouldnt never buy a screwdriver drom them now prolly list a mac tool and u get a harbor freight piece of crap

Defoliation today but I’m not sure if I was aggressive enough. Take more big fan leaves?
@PreyBird1 Monkey Slapz is an insane dense jungle of leaves. I couldn’t believe how much there was to trim. I can tell that one is unique.
The replacement MedicGrow Spectrum X arrived damaged but I installed it anyway. Took pictures and emailed MedicGrow about it because even though it’s running fine I feel ripped off getting a bashed up LED for full price.
It was missing pads that the other one came with.
