Been missing out on alot of your grow show @happilyretired , but just smoked a joint scrolling through and checking out the progress in your garden. Beautiful garden you have growing there. I also like the idea of your hothouse, it looks solid as a rock and I might do something similar.

Ah yeah, thanks for the reminder @chrisj, I was meaning to ask @happilyretired. It looks like the posts are galv. fence posts, are the arches also something like a galv. fence top rail and if so how did you bend it? a form? or purchased? or is that 1-1/4 pvc conduit? and do you cover it with plastic in winter or shadecloth in summer?

You are correct. I drove the 1.25 “ cyclone fence post in the ground then I took one inch PCV which fits inside of it perfectly and Bent it for the hoops. There are clamps you can buy for 1.25” pipe. So I took a piece of inch and a quarter conduit cut it in 6 inch pieces and slid it over the 1 inch pipe for the clamps to hold the ends. I did run shade cloth last year. I might throw it over in the middle of July or I might pull the greenhouse plastic back over for some light deprivation to try to get my early flowering strains to flower even earlier.

I chopped this plant back 10 days ago with pruning shears. It had started to flower and then started to reveg. Here’s a picture after the chop and then another one of today.

Thanks for checking guys. I was up in Oregon for a week and then I came home for a day and then went to Reno for three days and then yesterday was my one year-old granddaughter‘s first birthday and I was supposed to go to Monterey with my daughter family and my wife today but woke up going at both ends. As well as my wife my daughter and her husband. Apparently I got the worst of it because I’m still home and they’re all gone. Anyways I’m gonna check out again and relax for a couple of days. catch you guys later.
