Introduce yourself!

Hi Everybody,

My name is Steve and I am Vice President of Arteco. Extremely excited to be a part of this community and the people I have met so far have been super helpful. I am a security technology expert and cannabis industry enthusiast. I do specialize in video security but touch on many other aspects as well. Happy to offer advice, brain storm or just discuss on security, compliance and environmental controls.

Here is just a little bit more about what we do to give you an idea:

Arteco Video Security software aids total compliance and operational effectiveness for cultivation centers by giving easily searchable video events based on track/trace tags (plant tag, strain, group, harvest etc.) as well as time-stamped events for environmental sensors (CO2, water-flow sensors and lighting controls). Arteco can also tie in events from advanced security applications such as Access Control, Intrusion, Fire Detection, Video Analytics and much more. Have all of your events from security, compliance and environmental controls under one platform that gives you video verification for everything happening in your facility.

Looking forward to connecting and learning!
Cheers- Steve

Hello! My name is Shani, co-owner of Transformation Farms. I too am in Oklahoma and awaiting licensing. I’m truly conflicted with greenhouse verses totally indoor cultivation. The pros and cons are on both sides of course. We are leaning towards greenhouse due to the long term lower costs.

Does anyone have any experience with both?

Hello,

I would like to request a bid on a Cannabis greenhouse that includes light deprivation, air sanitation, irrigation and all necessities etc.

I’m thinking of 5000 square foot of canopy and of course room for cloning/propagation and flower. We would be interested in a space for drying too.

Thank you.

Hello!

Dan from The Green Sunshine Company here. Great to meet you all.

Our main product is the Electric Sky Wideband LED Grow Light – with a patent pending spectrum. Some growers haven’t had the most success with LEDs because many of them are missing something important… a wide range of color!

Home growers love us and commercial growers do too – we’ve converted many HPS growers and helped them reduce their electricity bills by 40-50%.

Check out this video where I explain the Electric Sky in detail. Oh, and there’s some pretty big buds for you to look at too

I’d show you our exploding instagram channel, but we just got banned! Good luck out there

If you ever want to nerd out on light science, DM me!

SSwarer,

Few questions, ill share here and send you an email:

  • Do you have the site layout drawn up already?
  • Do you own the land?
  • Is 5000 sq ft your max foot print, or is this the size your want for your flowering zone?
  • How do you plan to grow? (pots, raised beds, benches, etc…?)
  • Budget in mind?
  • Any project timeline?
  • Will you be applying for a building permit?
  • What is your main concern for your crop? (insect exclusion, uniform temperature, mobility, etc…?)

Hello,
thanks for having me here at growers network
I’m Matt,
I am a certified Horticultural Specialist, certified in Cannabis Products and a certified budtender.
I have dedicated the last 16 years of my life to cannabis cultivation and cannabis in general. My passion for this craft has driven me. Experienced in hydroponics, organics and no till living soil, pest/disease prevention and control, and managing environmental conditions. My focus has always been producing the highest quality flowers. My desire is to turn my passion into a fruitful career. I have been recruited by several companies here in Arkansas as a master grower, but because of our very limited law these companies did not receive a license. I am currently exploring opportunities in Oklahoma.
Thanks for having me here and i look forward to contributing to this community.

Undercover farming? I feel like I could get a PhD in that subject. Can I take classes on undercover farming at the school of agriculture in Buenos Aires?

There are some postgraduated courses on this topic at the university that you could take. The only negative point is that all the courses are in Spanish. Here is the link! www.epg.agro.uba.ar
