Medicinal Cannabis Use : Research Compendium

Hello fellow growers. I know that a lot of you are caregivers. Growing cannabis to help patients benefit from the healing properties of this wonderful plant is a worthy goal. Unfortunately, the documentation concerning the medicinal side of cannabis is everywhere and a bit hard to find.
I would love to start a thread where we could post SERIOUS scientific research on the use and dosage of cannabis for varied ailment. Anything serious about the healing side of cannabis is welcome.
Let’s try to keep this one serious please. That way if anybody is looking for something specific, they won’t have to wade through a sea of anecdotal evidence…
If you post anything, I would ask you to also post the reference (where it came from), so due credit is given!
If you have access to serious ressources and are willing to share them, this is the place!

EDIT : I am not a doctor and I have no medical formation. I am only giving you an easy access to some of the research available online. I can not and I will not give any medical advice. Before deciding on a treatment, I strongly suggest you consult a real doctor/specialist.

Love it brother great thread the medicinal capability of this plant would put big pharma out of business… My personal switch to medical was ten years ago due to my stomach twisting itself and blocked all digestive tracks due to intense stress… Weed has always been my savior since then

I think big pharmaceutical and invest group are already well into the picture. I think you’ve seen it in America where smaller illicit grows can no longer compete due to regulatory requirements. Basically allowing wealthy groups not connected to marijuana to take control.
In Australia the regulatory framework is being developed where you can only get approved to grow it if someone approved to dispense has you as the authorised body. Whilst not legal here, doctors and CEOs are already well into the system of being dominate players to maintain control.

Loads of data now. Everyone wants a piece.

The only saving grace maybe the ability to grow individual strains with THC:CBD and terp profile that a particular consumer wants through the entourage effect. Otherwise companies will just take specific compounds out, bioengineer, patent and own the rights for use.
