My Summer's Grow

Thank you - but only this time - I live in a very rural little horse town and we lose power several times a year - sometimes for 2 weeks at a time - lately its been better - but about 15 years ago I got smart and invested in a portable generator that keeps the lights, heat, a/c, refrig and other necessities going like the water pump (well water) - best money I ever spent…

Good luck with that…lol…I’ve been gardening since I was around 6 years old, still at it. We grew up poor, had to garden and can for the root cellar just to keep food on the table. Got up before light and got the eggs in and milked the cow every morning too. Lived out in the middle of nowhere in the country. Ramshackle house, you could literally see through the walls, mice running everywhere. Loved it.

I am doing this now! I left society and a very good paying job, bought a farm and the wife and I are in the woods! Paper poor but soul rich. 6 years and counting. Wouldn’t trade one struggle for that green paper.

Last night, I gave everyone their BBP treatment at the 4ml rate - even my mutant liked it this morning
I am definitely seeing new growth and some normalizing of her leaf structure - I have high hopes and expectations. I will be transplanting her into a one gallon bag - I think the fresh new media will be good for her and I will get to examine if she has any roots at all lol-

Everybody else is doing great.

All are between 19 - 23 days above ground… I am usually in a rush to top and start training as early as possible - but this run I am going to experiment with a different way of training - Always searching for a better way
Thanks for looking

I wouldn’t do that - its bad for their heart

Thanks Marty - I think she will make it for sure

I put the malted barley into the soil when I make up my pots. I don’t like what it does to my surface soil with mixing it in to the top layer, same with the insect frass I use, it make the coco get hard and caked up then the water runs around on top for awhile before it begins soaking in, so I stopped putting it in the top layer.

I love that myco fuzz when they are seedlings - I have noticed when I do that there is a noticable growth spurt - its gone after a couple of days or you can just mix it into the top layer - I mix it in the media as well - I have a pretty hot living media.

My little mutant is 3 weeks old today and starting to look pretty good so this morning I transplanted her into a one-gallon bag and some nice fresh media - I filler her hole with Bio-Char, Earth Worm Castings, Dynomyco and malted barley

I was surprised that she had developed some roots to the bottom of the propagation cone - I treated her like a solo cup refresh that @Arrow taught me this summer - I cut half of her root length and planted into fresh media - this way the roots can redevelop under a healthier environment and conditions -
I do believe that my honor plant will live to honor Dr. H as intended…
Thanks for looking

I agree - She may take some time to right herself - her central stalk (for new growth) is not well formed but I have time and will give her whatever she needs  I even gave her a spritz of BBP the other day along with her big sisters at a 4ml rate and she loved it .

BBP seems to be a bit of a cure all for growth issues. I had a few autos in my current run that were mad about my soil mix. A few days after their first BBP treatment you could hardly tell there was ever a problem with most of them. They’ll get their third treatment tonight and only 1 of them shows any evidence that any of them were ever unhappy about the soil.

I have found that to be the case as well - sort of like a B1 shot a boost for health - I was a little concerned about my mutant - mainly because she is only 3 inches tall and has been for 2 weeks now - but my concerns were not confirmed and I do believe BBP is helping my little mutant to right herself… Thanks BOB!!!

Thanks Guys!
BBP uniquely addresses the metabolization (assimilation of nutrients if you will) and translocation efficiency of plants. Once plant cells ‘learn’ this efficacy, there’s no going back!!!
In grow after grow BBP has demonstrated increased growth rates, beautiful plant color, increased nutrient demand , and phenomenal translocation of nutrients to flower bud.

It only makes sense that a small seedling (in a higher than optimal EC condition) with enhanced metabolization capability will recover and excel in shorter order.

It’s also commonly expected that BBP treated plants from mid veg through flower will require nutrient levels that would easily lock out their untreated sisters. It’s only through optimized metabolism/translocation of nutrients that we can assure the development and support of additional flower buds…so enjoy and feed the beasts!!!

I feed like my Jewish Mother - aLOT!!!

This was my reasoning. More nutrients than they want? Make them want more.

You just made it sound more sciency. Lol

I just LOVE going downstairs first thing in the morning when lights go on and check on my ladies -
I love their big green smiles
The bigger gals are about 28 days above ground and the smaller are 22 days

Everyone is chugging along - I still have 2 laggers - my little mutant and an Ice Cream Cookies -
I have a plan and time - so the 6 best developed will get transplanted and go into the big tent and autopots with my modification -
I am toying with the idea of an intermediary up-pot to 3 gallons and grow them till they are ready to flip then transplant to their final 5 gallon fabrics - give them a week to establish and flip to flower - I may or may not do this step.
I will take the best 3 of the 4 remaining and up pot to 7 gallons and keep in the small tent and hand water - if the 10th plant makes it I will either leave in a one gallon and grow her out - or if I can find room up pot to a 3 gallon.
The other beautiful thing I saw was this beginning of a central stalk that hopefull will become her main cola -

It may look pathetic now, but its the most beautiful thing I have ever seen
