I decarbed a zip of ISK back in Feb. I didn’t open the jar (after it cooled down) and I didn’t use it right away so I stuck it in the back of a cupboard. So a few nights ago I popped the jar open and shoved 3.5 sticks of butter in it. I made the budder in a crock pot, strained the budder into a bowl with a little water in it, covered it up and stuck it in the fridge. The next night I pulled the puck out and broke it into smaller pieces. I remelted the budder in a little double boiler and then stuck the little pot on some ice to start it cooling fast.

Here’s my trick for that color though…

I bought this little milk-frother thing off of amazon for my coffee. I whizzed the hell out of the budder a couple of times as it was cooling off.

And I had to be real careful because I was cleaning (wiping and licking) as I was going and I didn’t want to get too high. I failed. And I slept so good through two alarms this morning.

Normally I can fill this cup with 3 oz of budder when it’s not whipped (and keep the lids clean from budder). I guess that budder cup is ~0.20 oz of air.

It’s still pretty danky! It gives your breath quite a distinctive smell.

Yeah. I was also really surprised how light they turned out this time. Two of them are going in the freezer and the one I’ll use this weekend goes in the “dad’s drawer” of the fridge.

wouldn’t that be a freaking sight to see if you were just walking along…

Okay … That is like 3 steps too much effort for me. Milk frother, double boiler, crockpot <— there in lies the problem (for me) . It sounds as though you enjoy all this. Not I… if I could just squeeze the buds into the budder and call it done. :+1: LoL
Decarboxylation takea an hour, simmering for another 3 hours, straining and tubbing it up another hour. See I call all that NOT fun. You seem to enjoy it. LoL
Correction - if I could just set the bud on top of a stick of butter and then step on it… that would be best!

Hiya! So far, I’ve only transplanted the Wash clone and it’s doing quite well after not being so sure for awhile there. All three clones are now about the same size. They all seem to have an issue, pest(s), I think but I haven’t been able to deal with it yet. Well, I did. I neemed, mosquito bit, and DE’d them a couple of weeks ago. So maybe it’s not pests, maybe they need food. Since I’m not sure what my plans are for them LOL … I don’t know what to do. Do I want to keep them as clones? Do I want to grow them into a harvest? Do I want a little of both?

I have NOT had the time I had last year to care and tend for ANY of my plants this year. They are being cared and tended to, but not like last year. Last year they were #1 priority. This year I’m just trying to survive thru two part time temp jobs, school, and life. Heh. But as I always say … beats the alternative. Oh, and I’ve been REALLY sick now for about two weeks - 4 negative Covid tests (2 home, one drive thru, and one urgent care). So, a bad cold, turned into a blown eardrum and then bronchitis set in. This happens about one every ten years. So, once I get rid of this incessant cough, I should be good til I’m 70 … end of old lady illness rant …

I’ll post pics soon. You’ll be pleased to see the Wash clone came back quite well. So am I.

Back to homework. I’ll be done by the 17th and then my babies get all of me. One of the part time jobs (work-study) will end and then I’ll just be a substitute paraeducator over the Summer where I can pick and choose what jobs to take. Not enough to pay all the bills, but at least I have some income coming in finally.

My elder cat puked on my MacBook so I’m down w/o laptop and that’s one of the reasons I’m not on here much. Same little EFFER who murdered my Birdie. But I do love him. Little shit.

But, you know … life is good … all will be well … it’s been a hard year but I’m seeing a silver lining at times. And I’m alive and healthy other than this BS cold. Talk to ya later!

40 days in flower…

I put them away in their bathroom a little early tonight with a big fan blowing air in the room to dry those buds out a little bit before bedtime.

Blueberry Yum Yum and Mendo Mike in 5 gal pots.

Question: Should I top them, wait, and then bend them over and tie them down?

Or bend them over, tie them down, wait, and then top them?

Still no signs of sex on ANY of the autos.

I got two cuttings each of Pop Art and Daily Grape today!

After they have a chance to perk up a little one of each will get their own sponge and a cup to take root in.

If you top them first you’ll have more to tie down later is my thoughts… that’s my short term thinking at least. I don’t have great vision though. LoL

Why not try both top and tied? Or top one and tie one? Just a thought lol.

This little autoflower popped out of the dirt 06/12. It’s a fast-flowering auto that is supposed to stay small. I hope so. Because that’s an orchid pot filled with our local brand of supersoil.
