Sssportsmfg 2022 Grow log 100% Organic x Runtz x Bruce Banner x Candy Store

LOL I hear that. It will still be getting down into the 30’s at night for another week or so according to the 10 day forcast. Not enought to kill anything I don’t think, but I am gunshy as the last two years I lost two sets of warm weather plants after the 15th to cold snaps. I am really gonna be interested in the AC light when you get it up and running with plants under it. Are you setup in the house or in the basement or other?

I’m having to open my walk out basement door to get some cooler air in the last couple of days to keep the exhaust fan from running all the time. At night it drops to 1 and stays there.

I have mine setup in the basement that is fully finished with a walk out. Right now I have the A6 fans set at a minimum of 1 and the max at 6, and the trigger set at 75 degrees, going to reset the max to 10 sometime today and probably reset the trigger to 73 degrees, I’m still working on how to hang the Controller plates on the non AC Infinity tents to set them up. The person on AC Infinity chat is suggesting only have the A6 fans running with the lights on to make them last longer. It appears the heat problems are only happening when the weather is transitioning from winter to spring then late fall to winter. When the AC has been running the last couple of weeks I haven’t had heat issues, but the temperature drops for a few days, the AC turns off and I have to reset everything.

Here is just a suggestion Nacho…take some female self stick velcro, cut a slit in your tent, fold the velcro over the slit and stick down on inside and out, then slide the controller plate into the slit. I think there is a couple of slits on the AC tent for the controller plate, just duplicate that. and the self stick velcro will reinforce the slits. You could also carefully bind the edges with flame like sealing the end of a nylon rope befor you put the velcro on. That stuff is pretty sticky I used it on my little seedling box to hold the mylar to the top and so far still good 2 years later.

Personally I wouldn’t turn them off…longer life or not. I run my ciculation fans 24/7. Zero problems with mold in the tent. And I am on my third grow with the little Optimus fans, that aren’t near as fancy as the A6 fans. The Optimus use brass bushings on the shaft which I clean and oil each grow, but ball bearings on the AC fans should last longer than brass sleeve bearings.

If they last as long as my old clip on fans I will be happy. The A6 fans even running at 10 are nowhere near as loud as my old fans, so I am keeping the off setting at 1, so the plants move a little. I have the exhaust fans set at 1 min and 6 full blast right now. Today with the 2 new setup tents running all AC Infinity gear, I’m going to see if setting the A6 fans to 1 min and 10 max with the trigger set to 75 degrees will solve my transition heat problem. I read on someones thread that they used an awl to put small holes in the tent and used wire to hang the Controller Plates on their non AC Infinity tents. I am still thinking about using the Velcro though, just might have to use superglue to help it stick to the canvas, just not sure the superglue will screw up the canvas.

It won’t hurt the canvas. It is synthetic cloth. I had two companies with two different product lines, all sewed products with various synthetic fabrics and glued in some places.

I don’t think that 6 is full blast on the exhaust fans don’t they go to 10? Just checked mine does.

Yes they do but at 10 they get loud. If I keep having issues in the tents with the AC Infinity lights I will raise the max to 10 in those tents. Right now the tent with the T22 runs at about 82 degrees with the light set at 100% and the Ionboard S33 gets about 85 degrees at 100%. I’m checking to see if adding the 2nd A6 fan will help before I reset the exhaust fans.

Circulation fan won’t help with the temp, it will just blow it around. It’s all about input air temps ability to cool the tent down. One thing you could try is add a piece of flexible duct to the input side of your exhaust fan and run it to right over the top of your light. Much like they used to do with the enclosed fixtures and the HPS lights.

Flashers Can, omg

@TheMadFlascher
No but seriously Bob. There are solutions to that, you 2-fingered genius! Text to speech is one of them. 2 fingers can correct quick mistakes. Consult a publisher. Leave a legacy! Can earn you a couple of good dollars on the side as well. Just imagine having sold a million copies throughout the world… And it can go fast all of a sudden. And all you need to do then is sit back and enjoy

I can see it now. Bob on the today show, promoting his book on growing cannabis. As he puts a spoon for a canna butter in all of their today show coffee cups. That would be a show I would watch…:joy:

Might be funny to watch…but it wouldn’t solve anything…Whoopie has been indulging for decades, and i really can’t think of anyone i dislike more out of a field of a lot of whiny liberals.

Well today I finally watered it has now been 15 days. The soil was pulling away from the sides almost a half inch all the way around the edges of the pots next to the fabric. I watered one gallon each into these 10 gallon bags, it took a LONG time for it to moisten up the pot, when I first started it was just running through, so i slowed way down and only watered one quart at a time and waited a half hour in-between to get to the 1 gal each. They just wern’t growing. 1/2" in two days, that just isn’t normal so I watered. They perked up, I am going to be watering less and more frequent. I started out with way too much, I was watering based on usage from my last grow which was almost 2 gal every three days, but backed it off to 3/4 gal every three days, but that was too much.

I think I am going to wait a day then try a quart a day. Need to keep this at least evenly moist so the roots in the top part of the pot don’t die waiting for water.

I also did some defoiliation and topped three of them. The tallest Runtz/White Caviar the tallest Bruce Banner and the last Candy store all got topped today. The water was a one Tablespoon per gallon of Earth Dust base, and two tablespoon per 5 gal of Humic, along with one tablespoon of Recharge, I made up 10 gal, when I got all the plants done, I poured the rest on my outdoor garden plants.

The flat growing Bruce Banner…just doesn’t seem to want to grow up just sideways…

The Candy store that was topped a week ago…

The Candy store that just got topped today…

The Bruce Banner that got topped today…

The Runtz/White Caviar that got topped today…

And the Runtz/White Caviar that is a little shorty…

Happy Easter everyone.

Marty, you know a lot of growers use PromixHP and have good luck with it…Honestly, with starting seedlings I believe it can be problematic, especially for new growers…
I am advising Roots Organic for the Earth Dust grows…LOL, right or wrong! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!!
