Ok theses little gals are ready. And they are all my new mother plants. I kept only the very best strain of what i have been growing lately.

Man look at those roots! Longer stems and more nodes under the collars seems to have helped. This is 14 days in the cloner.

Look at the roots today!

They like doubled in length…But i also let the water level get lower down to 1 gallon. Thats half the cloners capacity of 2 gallons and once roots start to hang down and touch the water i let it get lower to make the roots stretch to find the water. I gave them some food tonight. And thursday ill transplant them and put 4 into the hydroponics system. And ill clone them again after they get bigger.

Ok folks here we go again. The cloner is loaded with all my keeper strains. These will be the new mother plants. I alway clip off a cut of every strain i grow when i flip the lights. This way i always have more of my best plants and i have all my favorite smoke in rotation so i always have some fresh strains going perpetually.

This little Runtz lady looks great for a seed bearing mother so i chopped off her top to be the next mother. And im seriously contemplation taking the males top off before he matured a little more so he can be the next father plant. I can keep him alive for a long time CAREFULLY. You have to clone before flipping, re-vegging a male in flower does not work. And you have to keep an eye on pre-flowers because the male will make quite a bit of pollen using those flowers before he is really ripe and full on pollinating. So you need to take the pre-flower off before they open. So basically you have to baby sit the clone or it will bite you in the gardens ass and pollinate your entire grow(s). The longest I have ever had a male clone in my garden was 6months in veg state. Male clones are hard to keep and really ned to be in there own small containment/quarantine tents with separate venting. I purposely keep my cloning in one room and my breeding in another room. So i use 3 separate rooms to grow in. And the breeding room is the farthest away from the main grow rooms just in case. Also it gives me a couple rooms to quarantine plants so my entire garden is separated in case of mites or something goes wrong. Since i permaclone i like to have at least 3 plants of each strain growing and at 3 stages of growth. Clonelings, vegging and flowering. Keeps my strain flavor rotations fresh and tasty and extra plants to breed with and have mothers. I prefer a 2nd generation clone as my plant for the most buds. I like seeds to get me the plant but its all about clones for me :+1: i like my new word “clonelings”

Nice start of roots did you split the stems or just shave them? Thanks

I kinda shave and peel. Like i nick the stem with a scalpel and i peel that stem slice down and off.
