I’m working on building a grow controller to allow existing growers to add customizable automations and grow tracking to their current systems. I’d love to find out how people might use the product and what features are valuable versus not important to include.
If you’re willing to spend a minute or two answering 10 questions about your current grow setups it’d be a huge help. We’ll also be looking for beta testers to test out the final product in early 2024; if you’re interested, there’s an opportunity to sign up to be selected for a free early beta at the end of the survey.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Your idea is cool and It sounds interesting but the Niwa grow hub already does this. You can plug in your equipment and control the equipment via an app from your phone. Im not sure how yours is supposed to work but i already have a niwa and it works amazing…heres a link for ya! https://www.getniwa.com/

Thanks for the advice, really cool to hear from someone who owns a Niwa. There are a few features I think could be added on top of theirs that I’m hoping to explore, but the first step is just figuring out what people want and don’t want.

Idk if he is on here also but ilgm has a guy pharmerbob I’m most certain it was who has created just about everything to run his grow room. He seems like a whiz at all kinds of stuff pc related and grow related lol. The guy has some shit setup where he can prolly set it and forget it the whole grow besides filling rez when needed. Lol. It’s nuts and something I don’t think I’ll ever fall into vatagory with him. Too much computer shit but his grow op is phenomenal. If ur on ilgm forum seek out pharmer Bob and scope his thread out u’ll be amazed at what he does and what u see. Oh he also has pet squirrels he takes care of from outside and does some super cool pics of squirrels also. Lol.
Yeah controlled 69 does a couple things. I believe this fella is trying to get a one controller for everything it sounds like. Basic set it and forget it type thing. Pharmer Bob has that and I’m most certain I believe Bob will run him or her thru all the steps he has taken to get where he is. He can tell everything about the inside of his room from temps to light intensity rh and all from one computer screen. I believe he has lights pimps timers and all set thru an app where it is all done by push of a mouse button type of thing. This is a cool thread and something I’d love to ha e for at my place to help me out. Bibs was a bit too much of this and that and all the pc stuff on top of that and program this to that. Lol. I want like controller 69 plug and play don’t have to load this or program that with all kinds of do dad’s and what nots. Lol. Watching here for sure. Hell I’m down to test out a controller when u make one also. That’s if this experiment going now makes it thru. Think my clones r getting a bit rootbound being in small containers so uppot today
