Hi,

My name is George, myself and Jack founded The Vault - (http://www.cannabis-seeds-store.co.uk) in 2012

Thank you for the invite to join your group. Just having a little perusal around the topics now. some interesting stuff on here!

We are based in the UK and are ranked #1 for cannabis seeds in Google.co.uk so have been growing as a business super fast.

We used to be able to accept CC in the USA but lost our processor 12 months ago, we have used all the usual routes like Stripe and so on. I would really appreciate it , if anyone could give us some help on how to be able to accept cards in the states again.

See you around the forums I guess

Hi Everyone,

My Name is Mike Florendo I am currently working on getting a tier 2 producer/processor license transferred in Washington. I have grown for many years starting in the 90’s. I am hear to further my knowledge because everyone can always learn more. I am interested in minimizing the hurdles of a cannabis start up and the things that existing business didn’t think of during its inception. Already found some good info on Credit Unions in Washington and read a great article and post on IPM. Great place for all types of info.

We are doing a container grow which is right up my ally. Since I had done 250 plant rooms these containers will be set up similar to my previous grow just a lot more of them. Each self contained unit will be about the size of the rooms that I have done before. They are repeatable and stackable. My main concern will be pests and IPM. I have never had a grow that didn’t get something eventually. Maybe I am not as careful as everyone else but I have not seen any grow with 100+ plants that eventually didn’t get something. So prevention and control is my goal. Especially since we have to get away from the old ways of Eagle20 style growing.

Anyway I am here and will be as active as I can. If you have questions for me please ask because I hope we can share knowledge here and get away from hoarding info like the days of underground growing.

Thanks-
Mike

Hi Nicholas,

Sorry, again we are in the process of transferring the license over and until our lawyer gets the contracts to the existing license holder and we give him the money we aren’t breaking ground on the build. We have to be 100% sure we have secured this license before lots of $$$$ goes out to start the build. As soon as we get it going i’ll post a new subject and post photos.

Completely understand. Hope everything goes smoothly with the license transfer!

Good afternoon, We are Mark & Cindy. We own Herbal Grasslands, a recreational dispensary in Salem Oregon. We opened our store in March of 2014 with the legalization of medical dispensaries here in Oregon. We got into the industry because of the benefits we saw in family members who were using the products & showing good results versus the results they had achieved using traditional medicines. Our primary goal in setting up our store was to make the 70 year woman, who had never used the product, comfortable coming into our store to ask questions. Even as we have remodeled to handle the increased volume of the recreational market, we have striven to keep that comfortable feel. Our staff is well trained in helping people find the product that will help them meet their goals. We make every attempt to treat all of our customers as medical patients.

Wha’s up, my name is Mat and I grew up on a small family farm in southern Indiana where we raised corn, wheat, and soybeans. This led me to start studying agriculture business at Murray State University, where I am currently a senior graduating in the spring of 2018. I always knew I wanted to do something in the agriculture industry that would allow me to utilize my sales, cultivation, and craftsman skills. I have recently redirected my focus to agriculture’s newest and most lucrative cash crop, cannabis. On top of perfecting my marijuana skills, I enjoy hunting and fishing in my free time. I’m interested in relocating anywhere that would allow me to better exploit my cannabis competence!

Welcome @hemphick420!

Any particular game you like to hunt?

My favorite game to hunt is whitetail deer. I prefer to bowhunt, which stems from my love of bowfishing where I shoot trash fish, like carp!

Hello

I am just introducing myself. My name is Dan Jordan and I am the CEO of UV Personal Protective Equipment (UVPPE). We specialize in UPF clothing designed specifically for cannabis cultivation. Most are unaware of the unavoidable UV radiation the body endures, especially for those in the cannabis industry. I lost two family members to cancer last year and my grandfather is battling stage 4 melanoma. So I am far too familiar with the damage cancer can cause, yet equally optimistic about how this industry will truly help those suffering. So for me, this is what I am truly passionate about. I get the joy of protecting and raising awareness about UV radiation…for an community that I care deeply about. I look forward to meeting or speaking with anyone about the industry as a whole. I am a HUGE fan and love learning outside of my box. Feel free to check out our site of you are curious about what we are doing. Thank you and I hope we get to speak soon.
